Charli XCX Portrays a Twisted Persona of Herself in Mockumentary Preview
The celebrated musician is getting ready for a substantial film presence in 2026, kicking off with the satirical film titled The Moment.
In the film, Charli portrays what she refers to as a hell version of herself.
It’s the realest depiction of the entertainment world that I’ve ever seen, the star commented.
She elaborated in a discussion: It’s not a tour documentary, however the inspiration stemmed from the expectation to produce one.
An Early Look into The Project
The debut trailer, launched on this week, blends authentic footage from her recent tour with made-up backstage scenes.
The Moment is directed and co-written by her collaborator, who revealed that the plot focuses on a world where the artist took completely different paths in the promotion of her chart-topping release Brat.

The film is set to premiere on 30 January.
